our boats fishermen & women

Chantelle Williams

As the wife of a local fishermen i am 100% proud in what we do. For many years i have worked in a office and decided to take a leap into the great ocean a few years ago, by supporting my husband in what he does! Fresh From The Boat was born, i had goals and a vision but nothing prepared me for our achievements so far.

It's not easy working in the fish industry and its full of difficult times, long hours and political battles, many of which i didn't know would even exist. But it is the most rewarding industry, one of the largest families i am part proud of been part of.

Fresh From Boat started by supplying a few local business's with our fish, the list of people who stock our fish is now huge, i sell our Fish at Tuppenny Barn, Local Fish Mongers,  Stansted Park Farm Shop, Restaurants and Pubs. Our fish box has over 150 members and our home deliver service is growing.

We have been involved in many community events including the lobster pot Christmas tree, Seafood Lunch on The Emsworth Quay, We created an award winning film, we attended The Queens Patrons Lunch, have worked closely with the Fishermen's Mission and most importantly have an amazing community who support us through the highs and lows of running a Fish Boat & Fish Business.

April 2016 we was presented with Havant Overall Business of The Year and Family Business of The Year an achievement  which i am proud of, one that proves that my main goal of connecting local people with their fisherman has been achieved!
